CHICAGO, Jan. 7, 2020 — The Office of Experience (OX) is a Silver winner in the 25th annual Summit International Awards (SIA) for its redesign of the SRAM website. The Marketing Effectiveness Award category had more than 1,400 entries from 10 countries. Only 83 entries were award winners — about 6 percent of all submissions.
“We are thrilled to receive this recognition, and proud that this award represents the quality of digital experience that we created for SRAM and its customers,” said Stratton Cherouny, co-founder of OX. “It is encouraging to get this type of validation from SIA and the industry leaders involved in this competition.”
SRAM is an industry leader in bicycle component manufacturing. They sought a best-in-class online experience to drive more shoppers to dealers to buy their components. OX designed a digital hub that created consistency and efficiency across brands, united multiple tribes of cycling enthusiasts and enabled a near-eCommerce experience.
“The site is helping SRAM build stronger connections with their core communities in mountain and road biking alike, while extending a welcoming hand to new fans across the entire portfolio,” Cherouny says. “It’s how a customer experiences a brand like SRAM — and what it makes them feel — that makes the difference.”
The Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award reinforces that the goal of marketing communications is to change, influence or reinforce an audience’s knowledge, attitudes or beliefs. Using this premise as a basis for its judging criteria, the competition is becoming a true arbiter of marketing communication effectiveness.
“Marrying creativity and effectiveness can be a difficult task, so winning a Summit MEA is a significant achievement,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit Awards. “The combination of experienced judges and our tough criteria ensures that only deserving submissions are awarded Summit MEA recognition.”
The Summit Awards organization is dedicated to furthering the excellence in the communications industry. Now in its 26th year, it administers three distinguished award competitions throughout the year with the goal of raising the awareness of companies and individuals who have the creative and marketing talent to go beyond the ordinary.
