Mack Wins Platinum at the Marcom Awards and Celebrates an Event-Filled June

CHICAGO—June 11, 2021— The Office of Experience (OX), a Chicago-based design and digital innovation agency, won a platinum award in the 17th Annual Marcom Awards for introducing Mack into the market as a medium-duty (MD) truck company. This work won the top award for its excellence in integrated marketing. OX architected a campaign around a bold core theme: Built for Growth. The message helped customers envision the Mack MD becoming an essential vehicle for the growth of their small businesses—and showed dealers a way to expand their own Mack footprint.

“We’ve represented the Mack brand for a number of years, but this work helped them break into and rise quickly in an essential segment for growth,” said OX co-founder Stratton Cherouny. “The release of the Mack MD series was intended to establish Mack as a total commercial transportation solutions provider. This campaign helped them appeal to small businesses and showed dealers a way to expand their own Mack footprint. We are thrilled to have this important work recognized with this Marcom Award win.” 

“Built for Growth” and the Mack MD is particularly relevant this month with National Waste and Recycling Workers week celebrated starting on June 17. Mack also hosted a highly interactive booth at the World of Concrete, the commercial construction industry’s largest annual international event for concrete and masonry professionals, in Las Vegas this week. There, visitors were able to explore Mack’s total transportation solution offering across products, dealer sales and service and assistive technologies. Attendees could also use augmented reality apps to build and customize their own Mack truck, and save or share their results.
